Our Oatstraw and Calendula Balm is perfect for those with sensitive skin, breastfeeding mothers, and children and babies. Made with only four ingredients - Calendula and Oatstraw from our gardens, along with organic cold pressed virgin olive oil and organic beeswax. This essential oil-free salve provides calming and nourishing benefits for the skin. It's an excellent choice for soothing dryness, minor rashes, cuts, scrapes, burns, and other skin irritations.

Calendula is one of the best herbs for all purpose skin care, especially folks with hyper sensitive skin but also has some interesting folk lore and magic !

Calendula is an important herb in all kinds of light, fire, and sun magic, giving strength to spells and enchantments. As a sun herb, it brings confidence and respect to ritual. Noted this beautiful flower also has connections to the moon after which its name derives.

The name Calendula originates from the Latin word "Calends", indicating the plant’s characteristic to bloom at the beginning of every month, an interesting note that connects Calendula with the menstrual cycle.

Oatstraw is harvested Avena Sativa plant also known as oats. Known for its nutritive and calming internal properties, Oatstraw is also highly beneficial for sensitive skin. Oat straw extract contains antioxidants called avenanthramides, which have been found to reduce inflammation both internally and on the surface of the skin.
It is wonderfull for reducing redness and calming inflamed skin.

Use

With clean hands, rub a small amount of product on to troubled area of skin. Can be used on hands, body, lips + face. Reapply as needed. Soothe bug bites, minor wounds, scrapes, minor burns, diaper rash, promote scar healing and dry or cracked skin.

Store product in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Use within 12 months of purchase.
