Balsam Moon is inspired by our deep connection with the Balsam Poplar tree. The intoxicating aroma from their resinous buds is like no other smell in the forests with its luscious honey, amber and caramel notes.

We infuse the Balsam Poplar buds in oil for a minimum of 6 month, then double infuse this oil with organic clove buds to create our rich, aromatic perfume base. This perfume oil has a smooth scent of caramel and vanilla musk with notes of cedar, amber, floral blooms and spice.

Many of us who carry trauma and heartache often struggle with self love or reconciliation with whom have hurt us. We formulated this scent in reflection of the deep healing and reconciliation we have found amongst the giant Poplar trees.

Often aromas can change our mood and uplift our spirit, helping to soften our hearts, this natural perfume oil is designed to do just that with its resinous and earthy aromatics. This harmonious combination invokes feelings of kindness, aiding in rituals of reconciliation, mending the heart, and self love.

The Poplar buds are harvested from fallen trees and branches in the forests in the Telkwa ranges of northern BC.

Roll on wrist, behind ears, or neck. Use while practicing ritual, meditation or everyday use. Natural perfumes do not stay with you as long as synthetic perfumes might. Multiple applications are expected if you want to hold the scent throughout the day.
